I really learned a lot this trimester. I think that it’s most valuable just the general skills in blender that I learned, because so long as I know the general skills, I can pretty much figure out how to do anything I’d like. The tutorials were decently helpful, but it’s hard (and frustrating, might I add) that you had to be for sure watching his every move and listening to his every word to follow along with what he was doing. The projects that we did with the tutorials were cool and I think that those were really good tools to help me know how to do some important things in blender. In each of my original projects, I was sure to use at least one of the tools or skills we were taught with the assignments we had to turn in with the tutorials. I’m really glad I decided to take this class because I go home and mess around with blender, and create other projects and things that I may be able to use someday for something. Though this really doesn’t relate to my overall course of study, (English) maybe if I’m ever to write a book, or a book of poetry or something like that, I could use blender to design a cover, or I could write a short story and make a blender animation to go with it. I think that would be really awesome, and again, I’m really glad I took this class.
