For the past one a and a half months, I've been working on a scene I've dubbed "Millionaire Lounge". It now consists of a short glass table, a crystal on top of it, a carpet, some lamps, a settee, as well as some basic flooring and wall textures. The pictures I've attached show my progression in making, refining, and putting these components together, adding up to the final image. I would have refined it further, but I've reached a point where I had so many vertices and textures in place, Blender was getting unbearably slow and in danger of crashing with every spinning wheel of death it showed me. Overall, I've bettered my skills in working with image textures, emission and hair materials, the bevel and subdivision surface modifiers, color coordination and light placement, and some basic modeling from objects already built into Blender.
